Renewal Church:  Media Use Policy

 

One of the ways we publicise Renewal church is through the church website and social media accounts.  Church is about people and we think it is helpful to put photos of church life online to give visitors a feel of who we are and what we do. We hope this will help people feel more at home when visiting the church. 

 

Including photos and videos online (on our website and social media sites), of the people and events at Renewal Vineyard Church is a privilege for us, and we intend to respect and honour it. Therefore:

 

• We will not knowingly post anything that would be embarrassing, objectionable or hurtful to anyone in a photo or video.

• We will not publish identifiable images of children or young people under the age of 18 online or in church publications without the consent of their parent/guardian.

• To ensure the privacy of children and adults, the use of full names or personal identifying information requires verbal approval for adults and written approval for children from the parent or legal guardian.

• We will gladly remove any photo or video upon request from any of our online sites. If a church member sees a photo that includes them or their child and would like it removed from the site, they should contact info@renewalchurchnairobi.com with the details.

• Some persons may choose not to have their photos, or photos of their children, used and we respect their wishes. Therefore, we are providing a Media Opt-Out form for individuals or families who prefer NOT to have photographs of themselves used by the church. If you have no objection to the use of your photos, you do not need to sign or return this form.
